How We Calculate Runtime
Battery runtime is often overstated in marketing. We prefer to give you real-world expectations you can rely on in the field.
Our runtime estimates are based on:
- Actual device power draw (not idle or best-case numbers
- Battery management system (BMS) cutoff — batteries do not drain to 0
- System losses from voltage conversion and wiring
Because of this, we calculate runtime using:
Runtime = (Battery Wh × 0.75–0.80) ÷ Device Watts
This gives a realistic estimate of what you can expect during real use—not ideal lab conditions.

Environmental Protection
The DeployNet™ is built using an IP65-rated enclosure, providing protection against dust ingress and water exposure commonly encountered in field operations.
This design helps ensure reliable performance in environments such as:
- Search and rescue operations
- Outdoor incident command
- Public safety deployments
- Training in variable weather conditions
While the enclosure provides a high level of environmental protection, the DEPLOYNET is not intended for submersion or prolonged exposure to heavy water conditions.
Durability and Serviceability
The DEPLOYNET™ is built using an IP65-rated enclosure to provide protection against dust and water exposure in demanding field environments.
In addition, we use stainless steel and brass hardware throughout the system to help resist corrosion and extend the service life of the equipment.
Rather than relying on snap-in clips, the DeployNet™ is assembled using mechanical fasteners. This design approach allows components to be accessed, maintained, and replaced if necessary — helping ensure the system remains reliable and serviceable for years to come.
