Power & Runtime

DeployNet™ Elite systems are engineered for real-world performance, not lab estimates.

Runtime is calculated using actual load conditions and system efficiency to provide dependable expectations in the field.

How We Calculate Runtime

Battery runtime is often overstated in marketing. We provide realistic numbers based on:

  • Actual device power draw
  • Battery management system (BMS) cutoff
  • System losses from wiring and voltage conversion

Formula Used:

Runtime = (Battery Wh × 0.75–0.80) ÷ Device Watts

This ensures reliable expectations for real deployments.

Integrated Power & Monitoring System

The Elite Series includes a real-time power monitoring system, allowing operators to track:

  • Voltage
  • Current (Amps)
  • Power usage
  • System load

This provides critical visibility during extended operations, helping users manage runtime and power consumption in the field.

External Power Connectivity

The DeployNet™ Elite system includes multiple external power connection options to support a wide range of field applications.

Included External Connections:

  • Anderson Powerpole connector with weather-tight protective cover
  • SAE external power connector for quick-connect power applications

These connections provide:

  • Secure and reliable external power input/output
  • Compatibility with common field power systems
  • Flexible integration with vehicle power, auxiliary batteries, and solar setups
  • Quick connection and disconnection in operational environments
  • This allows the DeployNet™ Elite to be easily integrated into existing power systems used in public safety, SAR, and remote operations.

Integrated Power Ports

DeployNet™ Elite also functions as a portable power source.

Built-in Ports

  • USB-C fast charging
  • Dual USB-A ports
  • 12V accessory socket
  • Integrated power switch
  • Digital battery monitoring

Solar Charging Capability

DeployNet™ Elite is solar-ready and can be recharged using external solar panels when paired with a compatible MPPT solar charge controller.

This allows extended off-grid operation for:

  • Search and rescue
  • Disaster response
  • Remote job sites
  • Long-duration deployments

Solar panels should not be connected directly without a charge controller.

Environmental Protection

The DeployNet™ Elite system is housed in an IP65-rated protective case, providing protection against dust and water exposure during transport and storage.

When deployed (case open), the system is not sealed and should be used with appropriate care in wet conditions.

Durability and Serviceability

The Elite Series is built for long-term reliability in demanding environments.

  • Stainless steel and brass hardware throughout
  • Corrosion-resistant construction
  • Mechanically fastened (no snap clips or glue)
  • Fully serviceable internal design

The enclosed system improves protection while maintaining long-term serviceability.
