Charging Dock for DJI Matrice 4T / 4E / 4TD / 4D Series
Built From Real Mission Needs
The sUASOps Charging Dock was originally developed for my own operational workflow as a SAR and public-safety drone pilot. Call-outs often come with no advance notice, and because batteries are stored at a safe 40–60% charge level for longevity, charging must begin while en route.
Seating Matrice batteries into a charging hub inside a vehicle requires precise alignment. The dock’s guided, fixed-position design makes battery insertion fast, easy, and secure—even while mobile.
By mounting the complete Charging Assembly on top of a DJI Power 1000, the result is a:
- Clean
- Self-contained
- Mission-ready
charging station — with no loose cables running across the vehicle and no unstable equipment.
Designed for Real SAR Flight Operations
Our SAR team flies DJI Matrice 4Ts and uses the LKTOP 200W charger, which delivers at least twice the charging speed of the OEM 100W charger.
However, the LKTOP system introduces multiple individual battery leads — creating a true “octopus” in the field.
At my team lead’s request, I developed a dock specifically to:
- Organize the wiring
- Secure each battery position
- Create a stable mobile charging platform
This required many prototypes and extensive field testing, resulting in a purpose-built system that performs reliably in real deployments.
Mission-Ready Battery Organization for the Field
Looking for a better way to manage your DJI Matrice 4 batteries during transport and charging?
The sUASOps Charging Dock is purpose-built to securely hold and organize your Matrice 4 series batteries, creating a stable, efficient, and professional charging setup for serious drone operations.

Build a Complete Charging Station
The dock is precision-fit for the DJI Power 1000 (V1/V2), creating a fully integrated charging station.
Charging Station configuration features:
- Dedicated rear mount for RC Plus 2 controller
- Self-contained cable management
- Stable mobile deployment
Also compatible with:
- Most portable power stations
- Any flat charging surface

Field-Ready Flexibility
🚗 Charge While En Route
In Charging Station configuration, the unit can be safely positioned in a vehicle’s back seat or floorboard so batteries charge while you travel to the mission.
🛠 Rapid On-Scene Deployment
At the operation site, simply place the dock on a table or stable surface for fast battery swaps and continuous charging near your flight area.
🔌 Vehicle Inverter Compatible
When using a vehicle inverter, operate in Charging Assembly mode (Dock + Hub) and secure the unit with mounting hardware or Velcro if desired.
For additional redundancy, connect the DJI Power 1000 to the inverter and use it as a UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply):
- Keeps the power station charged
- Maintains continuous output during engine cycling
- Ensures mission-critical batteries are always charging
Designed for Professional Operators
Ideal for:
- Public safety & emergency response
- Inspections & industrial operations
- Mapping & surveying
- Utility and infrastructure work
The result: faster turnarounds, reduced downtime, and a cleaner, more efficient battery workflow.
Material Options – Built for Real-World Operations
Both versions are engineered for daily professional use.
Your choice comes down to color customization vs. maximum structural performance.
🌈 PETG – Durable, Functional, and Available in Multiple Colors
Price: $69
A proven, high-performance material that delivers:
- Excellent strength and heat resistance
- High impact durability
- A clean, professional appearance
- Multiple color options for team, aircraft, or workspace identification
PETG offers an outstanding balance of performance, reliability, and value for everyday operations.
🛡️ ASA-GF (Glass-Fiber Reinforced) – Performance Upgrade
Price: $89
For operators who want the most rigid and structurally reinforced version available.
This advanced composite provides:
- Higher stiffness and structural strength
- Reduced flex under load
