sUAS Ops Battery Caddy™ for DJI Matrice 30 / 30T (TB30 Batteries)

The sUAS Ops Battery Caddy™ is a purpose-built battery carrier and organizer for DJI TB30 batteries used with the DJI Matrice 30 and Matrice 30T drones.

These aircraft require two batteries installed for each flight, which means operators are constantly managing multiple batteries during missions. The Battery Caddy™ was designed to make multi-battery swap operations safer, cleaner, and more organized.

TB30 batteries are large, heavy, and awkward to carry, especially when trying to manage more than one at a time. The Battery Caddy™ provides a secure, ergonomic way to transport batteries, while also keeping them off the ground and out of the dirt during battery swaps in the field.

For extended operations and rapid battery swaps, the 4-battery and 8-battery versions allow you to place used batteries upside down in the caddy. This provides a quick visual indicator showing which batteries are depleted and which ones are ready to fly, helping teams stay organized and mission-ready.

Designed for Battery Cooling

The Battery Caddy™ is designed with open ventilation around each battery position, allowing airflow around recently flown batteries. This helps dissipate heat and allows batteries to cool down before recharging, which is an important best practice for maximizing battery life and maintaining safe charging conditions.

Safety by Design

The Battery Caddy™ is designed with no exposed metal hardware, eliminating the possibility of accidentally shorting battery contacts. This is especially important when working with high-capacity TB30 batteries in fast-paced field environments.

Built for Strength – Not Lightweight “Generic” 3D Printing

These are not printed using lightweight hobby-style 3D printing settings. The sUAS Ops Battery Caddy™ is engineered for rigidity, durability, and real-world field use.

Each caddy is printed with heavy-duty structural settings designed to withstand the weight and repeated handling of TB30 batteries. This results in a much stronger and more rigid product than most typical 3D printed items.

To give you an idea of the build quality:

  • 2-Battery Caddy – Uses approximately 300 grams of filament and requires about 8 hours of print time
  • 8-Battery Caddy – Uses approximately 950 grams of filament and requires about 24 hours of print time to produce just one unit

These extended print times and material usage are intentional—they ensure the final product is solid, rigid, and built to last in demanding operational environments.

Available Sizes

Choose the capacity that fits your workflow:

  • 2-Battery Caddy – Compact and portable for light missions
  • 4-Battery Caddy – Ideal for typical field operations
  • 8-Battery Caddy – Built for extended missions and multi-team operations

Available Colors

  • Midnight Black
  • Drone Gray
  • Rescue Orange
  • Firefighter Red
  • Law Enforcement Blue
  • Tactical Gray (ASA-GF Upgrade)

Material Options – Built for Real-World Operations

Both versions are engineered for professional drone operations and field use. Your choice simply comes down to color flexibility vs. maximum structural performance.

🌈 PETG – Durable and Versatile

A proven high-performance material that provides an excellent balance of strength, durability, and appearance.

Benefits include:

  • Excellent strength and heat resistance
  • High impact durability
  • Clean professional finish
  • Multiple color options for team or equipment identification

PETG offers outstanding reliability and value for everyday operational use.

🛡️ ASA-GF (Glass-Fiber Reinforced) – Performance Upgrade

For operators who want the most rigid and structurally reinforced version available, the ASA-GF upgrade provides increased performance for demanding environments.

This advanced composite material offers:

  • Higher stiffness and structural strength
  • Reduced flex under load
  • Lighter weight than PETG
  • Excellent environmental and temperature stability
  • Professional Tactical Gray finish

Because ASA-GF requires specialized filament drying, hardened printer components, and higher material cost, it is offered as our premium performance option.

Which Version Is Right for You?

Choose PETG if you want:

  • Multiple color options
  • Proven durability for daily operations
  • Excellent value

Choose ASA-GF if your priority is:

  • Maximum rigidity and strength
  • Lighter weight
  • The most robust version available

Both versions are built for serious drone operators, public safety teams, and field professionals. The material simply allows you to tailor the caddy to your mission needs.
